You like being the person who logs into NetSuite, finds the broken revenue plan, and fixes it yourself, not the one writing a slide deck for someone else to do it. As the AR & Billing - Senior Operations Manager, you’ll be the hands-on owner of a complex SaaS monetisation stack, solving real billing and collections problems and building the AR/collections function around you as the business scales.

Finance attrition and growth have created a gap, and you will both run collections and AR day-to-day in NetSuite/ZoneBilling/Kolleno and design the long-term operating model, including where offshore/BPO makes sense. You’ll join a lean, highly technical team that values depth in systems, resilience, and a "leave the problem with me, I’ll fix it" mindset.

What You'll Do

- As the AR & Billing - Senior Operations Manager, you will own end-to-end AR and collections operations hands-on, from dunning flows and follow-ups on top-overdue accounts to resolving invoice issues and ensuring no critical customer falls through the cracks.
- Dive directly into NetSuite, ZoneBilling (ZAB) and Kolleno to diagnose and fix billing and revenue issues, owning incidents from first error message through to root-cause fix and clear communication back to stakeholders.
- Build the numbers-first reporting that drives collections, including ageing, root-cause tracking on failed attempts, cash application status, and monthly reviews with Sales and Finance on the biggest accounts.
- Act as a people manager and technical mentor for a small, integral AR/collections team, being the person they call when there’s a tricky system error and helping them grow by leading through hands-on example.
- Design and implement the long-term AR and collections operating model, deciding what stays in-house, what goes offshore or to a BPO, evaluating vendors, setting SLAs,



and holding partners accountable for quality and throughput while staying close to the work yourself.
- Collaborate tightly with Sales, RevOps, Customer Support and Accounting to align payment policies, resolve cross-functional billing disputes, and reduce upstream quoting and contracting issues that surface as downstream revenue or collections problems.

What You'll Bring

- 10+ years’ finance and/or operations experience across the full order-to-cash cycle, with a strong grasp of how selling, quoting and contracting choices surface as billing and AR issues.
- At least 3 years of genuinely hands-on NetSuite experience, plus practical time in a subscription billing platform, ideally ZoneBilling/ZAB, with Zuora, Chargebee or Recurly also relevant.
- Practical experience owning collections and dunning operations in tools like Kolleno, including executing credit and rebill corrections and understanding downstream impacts on revenue recognition and close.
- Experience reconciling processor data, such as Adyen or similar, to AR and cash application, with a clear approach to tracing discrepancies and fixing root causes.
- Proven ability to recruit or build a team and to manage offshore or BPO partners, combined with a collaborative, supportive approach to mentoring highly capable, independent colleagues.
- Calm, resilient presence in a high-pressure, technical environment, able to stay in control under pressure,



manage your own time without handholding, and communicate status clearly with specific numbers rather than vague summaries.
