Position:

Telecommunications OSS Engineer (Traffica / OSIX / Mediation Zone) Location:

Madrid, Spain

Key Responsibilities Installation, configuration and maintenance of

Traffica

and

OSIX (Polystar)

monitoring systems. Operation and troubleshooting of

Mediation Zone

components delivering traffic from OSIX to Telefónica platforms. Management and optimization of

Kafka

pipelines and

DeVo

(Telefónica Big Data ecosystem). Monitoring and analysis of telecom protocols:

SIP, Diameter, Radius, GTPv1, GTPv2 . Support for mobile and fixed network environments, including

NGN

and

IMS . System administration tasks on

Linux RedHat 8+

and

Windows Server 2019+ . Development and automation using

Java, Python and Ansible . Participation in on-call and night work rotations when required. Occasional on-site interventions at Telefónica’s data center.

Requirements Spanish-speaking

(mandatory). Based in

Madrid or surrounding areas .



Solid experience with

Traffica

and

OSIX (Polystar) . Experience with

Mediation Zone

and telecom traffic processing. Knowledge of

Kafka

and Big Data tools (preferably

DeVo ). Strong understanding of

telecom protocols

and network architectures (NGN, IMS). Hands-on experience with

Linux RedHat

and

Windows Server

environments. Programming skills in

Java, Python, Ansible . Intermediate English for reading documentation and communicating with product support teams in Sweden. Availability for

night work
