Spanish Learner Position: Spanish Learner Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $30–$42/hour Location: Remote About the Opportunity This opportunity is for Spanish learners to participate in a short-term project focused on capturing authentic, high-quality Spanish learning experiences.

Youll take part in recorded, one-on-one Spanish sessions with experienced tutors across different proficiency levels.

The project focuses on natural conversation, speaking practice, listening exercises, and realistic learner interactions that can help improve language-learning AI systems.

Responsibilities * Participate actively in one-on-one Spanish learning sessions with experienced tutors. * Engage in natural and substantive conversations in Spanish based on assigned topics. * Follow tutor instructions and participate in speaking, listening, and conversational exercises. * Ask and answer questions naturally during each session. * Adapt to different lesson formats, topics, and conversational prompts. * Maintain focus and active participation throughout each session. * Avoid extended periods of silence or unrelated conversation. * Attend and participate consistently in scheduled recorded sessions. * Provide an authentic representation of the Spanish-learning experience through natural interaction.

Required Qualifications * Actively learning Spanish with an interest in improving conversational skills. * Native English speaker with strong verbal communication skills. * Bachelors degree or higher. * At least 1 year of Spanish-learning experience through formal education, tutoring, self-study,



or another structured learning method. * Familiarity with basic to intermediate Spanish vocabulary and grammar. * Ability and willingness to participate in spoken Spanish conversations. * Comfortable interacting with tutors and responding to questions in real time. * Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain scheduled sessions. * Comfortable participating in recorded online sessions. * Ability to follow lesson structures and project instructions consistently.

Preferred Qualifications * Strong interest in language learning and conversational Spanish. * Experience with Spanish tutoring, language courses, self-directed study, or language-learning platforms. * Confidence speaking Spanish at a basic to intermediate level. * Strong listening and conversational skills. * Ability to adapt naturally to different topics and learning activities. * Experience participating in recorded interviews, online lessons, or research sessions is a plus.

Compensation * Competitive compensation of $30–$42/hour. * Hourly contract engagement. * Fully remote. * Project duration: approximately 3 weeks. * Approximately 7 hours per week. * Session length: approximately 20–30 minutes. * Sessions must run for at least 20 minutes. * Sessions will be recorded for project purposes.
