Support quality assurance and quality control activities throughout project execution.
· Perform inspections of equipment, materials, fabrication, construction, and installation activities.
· Verify compliance with approved procedures, specifications, drawings, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
· Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
· Participate in quality surveillance activities at fabrication shops, supplier facilities, and project sites.
· Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
· Promote Air Products safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times.
Conduct/Manage inspections of civil, mechanical, piping, structural, electrical, and/or instrumentation works as assigned.
· Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and quality plans.
· Witness inspections, testing, calibrations, pressure tests, and commissioning activities.
· Review material certificates, test records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
· Ensure Quality KPIs are within limit.
· Review Inspection test records in smart completions, Ensure completeness
· Oversee various fabrication related activities such as welding quality, NDE, Pressure testing, cleanliness preservation and ensure completeness of relevant documentation as per Inspection test plan and Project quality plan.
· Identify, document, and report quality deviations and non-conformances.
· Monitor contractor and supplier quality performance during project execution.
· Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of quality documentation.
· Participate in punch listing, turnover,
and project close-out activities.
· Collaborate with project teams to achieve quality objectives while maintaining schedule commitments.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 10+ years of Construction site experience in construction Quality.
· Knowledge of construction, fabrication, inspection, and testing activities.
· Understanding of quality management systems and inspection practices.
· Must be fluent in Spanish and English language.
Experience in industrial gas such as Air separation units, petrochemical, refinery, chemical, EPC, energy, or large capital project environments.
· Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, IEC, or equivalent.
Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), ASQ certification, or equivalent preferred.
· NDT certifications (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT) as applicable.
· Valid site access, safety, and project-required certifications.
Demonstrate personal accountability for quality, safety, and ethical conduct.
· Build effective working relationships across project teams and contractor organizations.
· Support problem solving through fact-based analysis.
· Exhibit learning agility and commitment to professional development.
Comply with all Air Products safety policies, life-saving rules, and project site requirements.
· Conduct work in accordance with applicable quality management system requirements.
· Report hazards, incidents, quality concerns, and non-conformances promptly.
· Support compliance with legal, regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
· Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, integrity, and operational excellence.
Standard project working hours with flexibility to support construction, testing, commissioning, and critical project activities.
· Overtime, shift work, weekend support, or extended hours may be required based on project needs.
