Ebro Motors Group EV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting – Consolidation Senior to join our Finance team in Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the group consolidation process and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and transformation of the iconic EBRO brand while working in a dynamic and international environment.
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and coordinate the financial consolidation process of the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, consistency across subsidiaries, and the accuracy of financial information reported to management and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Group Financial Consolidation process, including validation of subsidiary reporting packages and standardization of accounting criteria.
- Prepare and document monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes in accordance with local accounting regulations and/or IFRS.
- Perform reconciliation and analysis of intercompany balances and transactions.
- Ensure the proper elimination of intragroup transactions and analyze consolidation variances.
- Prepare and review annual accounts, financial statements, and management reports under Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage accounting entries in SAP, including invoices, payments, fixed asset depreciation, provisions, and other accounting transactions.
- Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies across all subsidiaries.
- Propose and support improvements in financial processes, reporting tools, automation initiatives, and consolidation systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous professional experience in a Big Four firm is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, consolidation processes, and reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FI is required.
- Knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Business-level English is mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
