IE University School of Science and Technology is seeking dedicated faculty to teach three basic and compulsory category courses during the second semester. Successful candidates will guide undergraduate students through collaborative, active, and applied learning methodologies.
Matrices and Linear Transformations (Segovia Campus)
This second year course for the Bachelor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence program provides 6.0 credits across 30 sessions. The curriculum focuses on vectors, matrices, linear equations, vector spaces, and eigenvalues. The instructor will help students abstract linear algebra concepts to develop mathematical solutions for real problems.
Probability for Computing Science (Madrid & Segovia Campus)
Also part of the second year Bachelor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence program, this course involves 15 sessions and provides 3.0 credits.
The curriculum requires the instructor to equip students with the skills to apply probabilistic methods to algorithms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Core topics include Markov chains, Poisson processes, Hidden Markov Models, and Bayesian networks.
Fundamentals of Data Analysis (Segovia Campus)
This first year course for the Bachelor in Data and Business Analytics program involves 35 sessions and provides 6.0 credits. This course provides students with the tools to delve into data sets and use information for business and behavioral applications. Key focus areas include statistical inference, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, and R programming.
