Join Our Barcelona Studio De La Fontaine Architecture (DLF) is an international architecture practice with a diverse portfolio of ambitious projects across multiple scales and typologies, with projects in the Middle East, Europe, North America, and Africa.

As part of the practice’s continued international growth, we are opening a new studio in Barcelona on 1 October 2026 and are looking for exceptional architects and designers to join its founding team.

We are seeking talented, driven, and highly collaborative individuals with a strong design sensibility and a genuine passion for architecture. We value curiosity, initiative, technical excellence, and the ability to contribute meaningfully within a fast-paced and international working environment.

Our Barcelona team will work closely with colleagues, clients, and consultants across different countries and cultures. Full professional proficiency in English is therefore required for all positions.

01 - Senior Architect

Experience: 7+ years

About you

Technically strong architect with experience delivering large-scale and international projects. Able to take ownership of a project, coordinate across disciplines, and lead its development from design through technical delivery.

We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently while adapting to different teams, projects, and project stages.

Key Requirements

- Strong background in architecture and architectural design, with proven experience leading projects
- Experience working on large-scale and international projects
- Strong technical design and documentation skills, with familiarity with international standards




- Strong Revit proficiency
- Strong consultant and multidisciplinary coordination skills, with the ability to lead and manage a project independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Full professional proficiency in English, including confident communication with international clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams; additional languages are a plus
- Rhino proficiency is a strong advantage

Primary role: Project ownership / Technical development / Coordination / Delivery

02 - Architect

Experience: 4–7 years

About you

Versatile architect combining strong design, technical, and communication skills. Able to work across different project stages, from concept and design development through documentation and production, and to effectively bridge Rhino-based design workflows with Revit.

We are looking for someone fast, independent, and highly collaborative, with the flexibility to contribute across different teams and international projects.

Key Requirements

- Strong background in architecture and architectural design
- Experience working on international projects across different project stages
- Good technical drawing and documentation skills
- Strong Revit and Rhino proficiency
- Ability to work quickly and independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Full professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international working environment; additional languages are a plus




- Familiarity with AI-assisted design and visualization workflows
- Parametric design skills are an advantage

Primary role: Design development / Rhino–Revit integration / Production / Communication

03 - Architectural Designer

Experience: 2–4 years

About you

Highly motivated and design-driven architectural designer with strong digital design, modelling, and visual communication skills. Fast, curious, and comfortable exploring, testing, and developing multiple design options.

We are looking for a proactive and energetic team player with a strong architectural sensibility, experience developing clear and compelling visual presentations, and the ability to communicate design ideas effectively through drawings, diagrams, renderings, and graphic layouts.

Key Requirements

- Strong background in architecture and architectural design
- Strong architectural and design sensibility, with the ability to explore and develop multiple design options
- Excellent Rhino proficiency and fast 3D modelling skills
- Strong Grasshopper and parametric design skills
- Basic Revit knowledge
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Experience preparing architectural presentations and visual communication materials
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design and visualization workflows
- Proactive, energetic, and eager to learn
- Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Physical model-making skills are an advantage
