European Business School Barcelona (EBSB) is seeking an experienced, visionary General Director / Rector to lead our overall institutional strategy, academic programs and executive operations in vibrant Barcelona, Spain.

Key Details

- Position: General Director / Rector
- Location: Barcelona, Spain (On-site)
- Employment Type: Full-Time (Urgent Hire)
- Salary: €55,000 - 60,000 / year

Key Responsibilities

- Executive & Academic Leadership: Direct and oversee all executive operations, academic development, quality assurance and long-term institutional strategy.
- Faculty & Staff Management: Recruit, evaluate and mentor international faculty and key administrative teams while promoting operational and teaching excellence.
- Curriculum & Institutional Innovation: Align academic programs with global business trends, accreditation criteria and innovative educational methodologies.
- Student Success & Engagement: Oversee institutional policies, academic advising frameworks, student retention and overall learning experience.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with global partner institutions,



regulatory bodies and industry leaders to expand institutional reach.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: PhD (or DBA) / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in higher education executive administration (e.g., General Director, Dean, Rector or Vice-Chancellor).
- Track Record: Proven success in institutional administration, curriculum design, accreditation standards and strategic management.
- Languages: High fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Competencies: Exceptional executive communication, leadership and intercultural negotiation skills.
