About Wooptix Wooptix is a semiconductor wafer metrology innovator that provides the fastest, most accurate

in-line measurements with the highest resolution. Through its use of wavefront phase

imaging (WFPI), a proprietary technique derived from research in adaptive optics, its systems

measure the shape, uniformity, nanotopography and roughness of the entire silicon wafer in a

single shot. It is actively deploying solutions at various customer sites across Asia, Europe and

North America.

About the role We are seeking an experienced Facilities Specialist to lead maintenance activities across our

semiconductor manufacturing operations at two separate locations within Tenerife island. This

role is responsible for defining and executing maintenance strategies, developing preventive and

predictive maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, and providing technical

leadership to maintenance technicians.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maximizing equipment uptime, reducing

operational risk, and supporting manufacturing excellence within a critical equipment

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians

Establish maintenance best practices and standard operating procedures

Develop,



implement and continuously improve preventive, predictive and corrective

maintenance programs

Define maintenance schedules, task frequencies, spare parts requirements and resource

allocation

Drive equipment reliability initiatives through data analysis and failure prevention

methodologies

Manage equipment lifecycle strategies, including obsolescence and replacement

planning

Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and increased

equipment efficiency

Manage and define interactions with equipment suppliers and external services

Carry out the monitoring and execution of statutory maintenance inspections (OCA)

Ensure maintenance procedures comply with cleanroom requirements and

semiconductor industry standards

Promote a strong safety and quality culture within maintenance operations

Ensure good warehouse management practices within the company

Other Tasks:

Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of

ISO9001:2015 standards.

Definition of processes for the standardization and unification of the company´s way of

working

Must-have requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in any type of technical engineering (Industrial,

mechanical, electrical, electronics) or a related field.





At least 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance leadership.

Expertise in preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance methodologies

Fluent in Spanish and English (Reading, writing, and speaking)

Driving licence (B)

Nice to have

Strongly valued: previous experience in management or team leadership.

Experience in cleanroom or controlled environments (laboratories, pharma, healthcare,

or similar) is a plus, especially those comparable to semiconductor manufacturing.

23 working days of holiday + 2 company bank holidays (24th and 31st of December).
