Are you passionate about the sea and looking for a rewarding opportunity on the waters of Mallorca? A fishing vessel based in Palma is currently looking for an active and dedicated Fisherman Deckhand to join the maritime crew. In this full-time position, you will support daily fishing operations directly on deck, contributing to smooth workflows and sustainable catch handling along the Balearic coastline.

Your day-to-day responsibilities on deck will include:

- Loading and unloading fishing gear and necessary onboard equipment.
- Sorting, handling, and preparing the catch according to standards.
- Actively participating in docking, undocking, and mooring maneuvers at port.
- Assisting with general deck maintenance and keeping the working areas safe and functional.

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- At least 3 months of documented experience in maritime fishing or deckhand duties.




- Valid Marinero Pescador certification.
- Valid Basic Safety Training (Formación Básica en Seguridad).
- Valid medical clearance from the Social Maritime Institute (Reconocimiento Médico del ISM en vigor).
- High adaptability, physical fitness, and strong teamwork capabilities at sea.

What is offered:

- A fixed-discontinuous contract (fijo discontinuo) with an initial duration of 8 months, with the possibility of extension.
- A gross annual salary of 17,094 EUR, with a guaranteed monthly minimum wage (SMI) and potential increases based on dedication and performance.
- Full-time schedule adapted flexibly to weather and sea conditions.
- An opportunity to work directly out of the port of Palma with an established fishing team starting in September 2026.
