A private automotive company in Mallorca is hiring an ITV Technical Inspector to carry out official vehicle inspections at testing facilities located in Calvià or Manacor. This is an on-site, permanent position designed for skilled automotive specialists who value road safety, precision, and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conducting official technical vehicle inspections in accordance with statutory ITV guidelines
- Accurately registering, updating, and managing all inspection documentation and test records
- Monitoring the condition, calibration, and proper operation of diagnostic and testing equipment
- Promptly identifying and reporting any equipment incidents, breakdowns, or operational irregularities
Requirements
- A completed vocational qualification: CFGS in Automotive (Automoción),
CFGM in Vehicle Electromechanics (Electromecánica de Vehículos), or a recognized equivalent degree
- Your own vehicle, which is essential to commute reliably to the workplace in Calvià or Manacor
- A responsible, thorough approach to vehicle mechanics, diagnostic tools, and administrative reporting
Conditions
- An indefinite, permanent employment contract (contrato fijo) in the private automotive sector
- A gross annual salary of €25,600, supplemented by a 5% bonus after 3 months and an additional 5% bonus after 2 years of service
- Rotating shift schedule from Monday to Friday (mornings and afternoons)
- Summer schedule benefit: no afternoon shifts during the months of July and August
- Work location in Calvià or Manacor
