Overall Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for performing tests and preparing reports in accordance with procedures, planning, and HSE rules. The operator is also responsible for day-to-day "level 0" maintenance of the equipment.
The main missions of the role are:
Performance & QCDP
- Responsible for performing tests in line with specifications, test methods, and regulations within the specified time.
- Record test results in the test report or in the airbag matrix and send them to the Airbag Engineer for review.
- Optimize equipment usage.
- Responsible for performing tests according to the time schedule, and alert the manager in case of deviation.
- Ensure the test report is completed within the defined timing. Inform/ask for advice from the Airbag Testing Group Leader in case of any doubt or non-conformity.
- Ensure level 1 maintenance of their equipment.
- Collaborate on general tasks related to the testing department (QRCI, others).
- Use equipment according to manual instructions and with special care.
- Respect general laboratory rules.
- Attend punctually to top 5 meetings, planned training, or other meeting invitations.
HSE
- Respect HSE rules and PPE requirements.
- Propose HSE improvements for their workstation.
- Ensure 5S in their department.
Quality
- Respect quality procedures in line with the job.
- Respect confidentiality rules.
Qualifications
The idóneo candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: FP technician (vocational training) or significant experience in the same domain (1 to 3 years).
Experience
- User-level knowledge of computer technology.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Senior analysis and control technician profile recommended.
Skills and Competencies
- Rigorous in applying expected rules.
- Ability to interpret testing catalogues.
