Role Description

TheProfesor/a de Italiano will deliver engaging Italian language classes to learners at different proficiency levels, following Yuhu Learns’ teaching guidelines and methodologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching group and individual classes, evaluating student performance, assigning and reviewing exercises, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with colleagues to improve course content. This is anin-person, part-time role based in the Valencia University Area.

Requirements for this role:

- Native or C2-level Italian speaker.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., CEDILS, DITALS, or equivalent) or 2+ years of teaching experience.
- Conversational Spanish (B1/B2) is a plus, as students are Spanish speakers.
- Valid work permit for the EU.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching.





Qualifications:

- Strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience delivering language lessons to diverse learners.
- Ability in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured lessons and adjusting activities to different levels.
- Excellent Communication skills, both spoken and written, in Italian and a working knowledge of Spanish or English.
- Formal education in Languages, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; a relevant degree or teaching certification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Italian as a foreign language, preferably in classroom settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with the broader teaching team.
