We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Program WB - TMT to join our TMT & Healthcare Team.

The Telecom, Media, Technology & Healthcare sector team offers an exciting position in Madrid for an ambitious professional who enjoys working in an international environment. The TMT & Healthcare sector team is one of the global specialist sector coverage teams at the heart of ING Wholesale Banking. We provide banking services and complex financial solutions to telecommunication, media, entertainment, technology, satellite and healthcare companies in the EMEA region, the Americas and in Asia-Pacific. As a Graduate, you will play a key role in execution of transformational financial solutions for them.

Working in the TMT & Healthcare sector team means working in a dynamic environment with interesting clients and on challenging transactions at the very heart of the ING organization. Due to the complexity of the assignments and the international nature of your work and your team, you will learn a lot. The integral TMT & Healthcare sector team consists of 80+ dedicated professionals located in New York, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid and Singapore. The combined teams in Amsterdam, Madrid & Frankfurt cover the EMEA region together with PAMs in other locations, and serve clients in a number of TMT & Healthcare sub-sectors. You will also work with the teams in New York and Singapore who cover the entire spectrum of TMT & Healthcare transactions in their regions. Your key responsibilities:





You will be a member of multiple clients & deal teams involved in transactions which have a large impact on our clients. You work closely together with team members in Madrid and other locations, and with various product specialists across ING. In all your activities you will strive to meet client needs in the best way and beyond. In the TMT & Healthcare sector team your job is hugely diverse, but your main tasks consist of:

- Safeguarding timely transaction delivery and high-quality and seamless transaction execution.
- Taking responsibility for complex financial models, company and market research, credit analyses, rating profiles and peer group analysis, and managing credit applications
- Assessing and reviewing due diligence on clients in a dynamic sector
- Active support in the syndication or co-ordination of transactions
- Monitoring portfolio management activities such as processing of credit reviews, waivers and amendments
- Supporting our KYC team on keeping our portfolio secure and compliant

What are we looking for?

Personal profile:





- Ambitious professional with a Masters' degree with above-average academic grades
- Up to 2 years of experience in the financial sector in an international environment (including internships)
- Relationship-driven, people-oriented, finds it easy to make connections
- Good interpersonal & communication skills, strong team player
- High level of drive, self-motivation and professional approach
- Affinity with the sector
- Strong project, time management & deal execution skills
- Preferably excellent financial, modelling & analytical skills, eye for detail
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbally and written

Experience requested:

- Internship experience in banking or financial services

Business competencies:

- Passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement and processes optimization
- Digital mindset and capabilities
- Ability to work with data and knowledge about basic statistics

Personal skills:

- Good self-organization ability to drive a lot of activities in parallel
