A leading data center developer is establishing a new France-based joint venture and is looking to appoint a Senior Financial Controller to lead the finance function through its next stage of growth.

This is a senior, hands-on finance leadership role, working across French statutory requirements and international shareholder reporting.

Key responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end finance, accounting and reporting cycle

Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close and management reporting

Oversee French statutory accounts, tax, VAT and audit requirements

Manage and govern an outsourced accounting service provider

Establish robust financial controls, governance and processes

Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial performance reporting

Support shareholder, Board and management reporting

Drive finance systems, automation and process improvements





Develop the roadmap for potentially bringing finance operations in-house as the JV scales

What we’re looking for:

10+ years’ progressive finance/accounting experience

5+ years in a senior Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Head of Finance position

Strong experience across financial control, statutory reporting, tax and governance

Strong understanding of French accounting/statutory requirements

Professional accounting qualification – CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, DSCG or equivalent

Fluent French and strong English communication skills preferred

Comfortable operating in a lean, start-up environment with significant ownership and autonomy
