Experteer Overview
As Corporate Counsel, you will support Axon's integral sales teams and shape legal strategy for a rapidly scaling business. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to structure, negotiate, and review complex commercial agreements for goods, services, and SaaS solutions, with a focus on the EMEA region. You’ll lead process improvements, templates, and the contract lifecycle program to drive efficiency. This role offers meaningful impact in a mission-driven company that values candor, capability, and inclusion. You will work closely with multiple teams to manage risk and support growth.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Support EMEA regional sales teams and potentially other regions as demand dictates
• Provide legal advice on transactional matters related to sale of Axon's products and services, including structuring and negotiating contracts
• Supervise and review Contracts Managers’ work
• Set and enforce risk levels via approvals and knowledge resources
• Lead and evolve contracting processes to scale, including drafting templates, risk analyses, and procedures
• Support development and implementation of the contract lifecycle management system




• Provide additional legal guidance on regulatory compliance and industry standards
• Collaborate with attorneys, contracts managers, and support staff to mentor and grow the team
• Travel up to 15% as needed

Responsabilidades
• Minimum 5 years of in-house experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate high-volume contracts for SaaS, hardware, and services
• Knowledge of EMEA procurement laws and processes (UK/EU)
• Must be located on the east coast
• Experience negotiating framework agreements
• Ability to act with urgency and manage time-sensitive requests
• Mentorship mindset and willingness to train others
• Experience supporting large, dynamic organizations
• J.D. and bar admission in at least one U.S. state or authorization to practice in the UK or EU
• Experience designing and administering contract lifecycle processes
• Familiarity with tools around contract processes (Generative AI, Salesforce, CLMs, MS Office)
