Experteer Overview
In this role you will strengthen the Workato Engine behind the Recipe runtime, focusing on scalable Ruby/Go applications and performance improvements. You will work with cross-functional teams to enhance the execution engine, data storage, and security, contributing to durable, high-performance backend systems. You’ll lead technical initiatives, review code, and explore new technologies to keep us at the cutting edge. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Build, extend and troubleshoot complex Go and Ruby applications and microservices
• Improve the execution engine for custom code (Ruby DSL, isolation, performance)
• Write clean, testable Ruby and Go code
• Integrate data storage solutions (Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse)
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle and perform code reviews
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with other teams on shared projects




• Evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise effective fixes
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Explore new technologies (Rust, Wasm) for future use

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend applications
• Strong understanding of distributed systems patterns and algorithms
• Deep knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and related infrastructure
• Proficiency in Ruby; working knowledge of Go and Rust; multilingual programming capability
• Experience with cloud deployments (k8s, Terraform, ArgoCD) and public clouds (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Excellent debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills; strong collaboration
• BS/MS in CS, Engineering or related field
