Experteer Overview
As Controller, you ensure financial integrity through accurate reporting, governance, and internal controls. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while partnering with integral finance and operations to drive profitability. Your work supports audits, compliance with IFRS, and continuous improvement of reporting processes. This role combines hands-on analysis with cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, international setting.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for assigned entities
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, identify variances, risks and opportunities
• Support management reporting with meaningful analysis and recommendations
• Drive profitability analysis and monitoring across key financial metrics
• Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders for strategic decisions
• Monitor operating expenses, headcount, working capital and other KPIs
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities with data accuracy and timely reporting
• Participate in CAPEX planning, investment analysis and related reporting
• Ensure IFRS compliance, internal controls and Sulzer policies
• Improve reporting processes, dashboards and planning tools through automation and standardization




• Collaborate with global and regional teams within Sulzer Finance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at the Madrid Finance Center of Excellence

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning u0026 Analysis, Controlling or similar finance roles
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Advanced Excel; experience with Tagetik, Qlik Sense, Power BI or ERP systems is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Experience in an international or shared services environment is a plus
• Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
