In this role you will lead complex projects within the Innovation Delivery Group, steering multidisciplinary teams and ensuring high-quality outcomes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and manage project initiation, governance, and procurement strategies. You’ll drive risk, safety, and financial performance across the project lifecycle while fostering a collaborative culture. This opportunity lets you shape national programmes and support the Agency’s 2030 action plan with a strong focus on delivery excellence.

• Provide project leadership and task management for the project team, including managers, coordinators, and specialists
• Mentor and coach team members to match project needs
• Oversee project initiation, scope, governance, roles, and plans
• Apply 5-case business model, project assurance, and financial approvals
• Maintain communication with the Sponsor and senior stakeholders
• Develop and oversee stakeholder engagement plans
• Create procurement strategies and manage contracts and supplier performance
• Set a collaborative working culture and ensure health, safety, and CDM compliance
• Manage project financial performance including in-year spend and forecasting
• Participate in incident response as part of EA requirements
Responsabilidades
• Significant experience leading complex projects or programmes, preferably in engineering, construction, asset management or flood risk management
• Formal project management training with hands-on lifecycle application
• Strong commercial acumen with supplier contract management and procurement experience
• Extensive project financial management and cost forecasting experience
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building engagement plans
• Strong report writing and business case development skills
• Technical knowledge and leadership in risk management and health u0026 safety compliance
