? At China Three Gorges Europe (CTGE), we operate and develop renewable-energy assets across Europe. As our portfolio and digital infrastructure continue to grow, we are strengthening our Digital Center and looking for an OT & Industrial Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Madrid. The role will be in charge of all our northern projects and will be based remotely or in Madrid/Gijón.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of Renewable Energy, Operational Technology, Industrial Networks and Cybersecurity — supporting the systems and infrastructure that keep our power plants operating safely, securely and reliably.

What will you do? As part of the OT team, you will help ensure the reliability, security and continuous improvement of OT environments across our renewable-energy portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

- ? OT & SCADA Support: Provide first-level OT support to internal teams, plant personnel and external partners, both remotely and on-site.
- ? Industrial Networking: Analyse, troubleshoot and document OT networks and connectivity issues across renewable-energy facilities.
- ?️ OT Cybersecurity: Support the secure operation of OT environments, including firewalls, network infrastructure, user access and security controls.
- ⚡ Renewable-Energy Technology: Work with the OT systems and devices supporting our renewable-energy plants.
- ? Monitoring & Reliability: Monitor OT networks and assets and help identify potential issues before they impact plant operations.
- ? Documentation: Create and maintain OT architecture, network,



asset and operational documentation.
- ? Incident Management: Analyse, document and prioritise OT incidents and coordinate their resolution with the OT team and relevant stakeholders.
- ? User & System Management: Maintain OT users, configurations and operational information across relevant systems and tools.
- ? Knowledge Sharing: Support internal training and knowledge-sharing activities on OT-related topics.
- ? Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Cybersecurity, Plant Operations, Engineering and external technology partners.

? Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree Electronic and Automatic Industrial Engineering, or equivalent relevant discipline such as: Electrical Engineering; Industrial Engineering - Renewable Energies; Telecommunication Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in OT, industrial environments, networking, SCADA, renewable energy or a closely related field.
- Good understanding of industrial/OT networks and troubleshooting.
- Professional experience working with technical teams, suppliers or operational environments.
- English Advanced level (equivalent to B2-C1).
- Spanish Advanced level (equivalent C1-C2/Native).

?Other Valuable Requirements:





- Desirable Master’s or specialization in renewable energy or any other related field.
- Previous experience in: SCADA / Industrial Control Systems; OT cybersecurity / IEC 62443 / NIST; Firewalls, routers and network security; Fortinet / FortiGate; Virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Proxmox; OT monitoring platforms such as PRTG.
- Experience with Renewable-energy plants, particularly PV, wind or BESS.
- Remote support of industrial environments.
- Asset management and OT documentation.
- Strong technical fundamentals with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
