We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in property accounting. The idóneo candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and timely reporting. This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of property accounting, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Record and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and prepayments

Maintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation schedules

Prepare variance analyses for assigned properties in collaboration with property management teams

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and lease agreements

Partner with property management teams to provide financial insights and resolve accounting-related issues

Assist with external audits and tax filings by providing schedules and support documentation

Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting

Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting





Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in property accounting

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)

Preferred: Experience in Senior Housing, Real Estate, Hospitality, or Healthcare

Preferred: Hands-on experience with Yardi
