Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and leadership for regional HSE programs and processes, acting as a key point of contact for HSE topics

Support and guide team resources (including shop floor and plant technicians) to build a proactive HSE culture throughout the value chain

Coordinate continuous regional improvement, development, and effective implementation of global and regional HSE initiatives

Continually assess emerging HSE risks and control effectiveness across the region, facilitating proactive action alongside regional and integral functions

Establish and ensure a consistent, aligned implementation of HSE management systems across the site and region

Support and guide team resources to build a proactive HSE culture throughout the value chain

Monitor performance and compliance, intervening or stopping processes and actions whenever HSE standards are not met

Qualifications

2 to 5 years of direct experience in a similar HSE role, primarily in the industrial or manufacturing sector

Technical background/engineering degree or solid technical foundation in occupational risk prevention (Riesgos Laborales); a practical, technical approach rather than solely administrative management is required

High level of English (written and spoken) is essential

Extensive operational, on-the-ground experience. Practical knowledge of manufacturing operations involving equipment safety, hazardous materials, and large-scale workforce coordination, beyond purely administrative work. Extensive operational, on-the-ground experience working directly on the factory floor alongside shop floor technicians, engineers, and plant managers





Thorough understanding of national HSE regulations, chemical safety, and industrial safety standards.

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical discipline. Official University Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (Master Oficial Universitario en PRL) is required.

Mobility and flexibility for territorial travel as needed

Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization, with the credibility to interface with engineering teams and shop floor technicians alike
