✨About the role
We are recruiting a Sustainability Analyst to be embedded within a client account and lead the team in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental operations. This will be a temporary contract to cover a leave.
The BeNeLux Cluster Sustainability executive drives the implementation of the sustainability strategy, policies & standards and implementation across BeNeLux, providing thought leadership, counsel, advice and support to the Line Managers & different Functions teams in line with the WE Area Sustainability agenda, that enables the seamless execution, in order to ensure that the client protects its corporate reputation, license to operate and access to resources, and recognized as one of the most advanced in terms of sustainability standards and processes.
? Key Responsibilities:
- Deploys BeNeLux sustainability and safety strategy in line with client´s Group objectives and "A Better Tomorrow™" vision.
- Delivers sustainability and safety projects, including climate change, circular economy, responsible sourcing, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Monitor, report, and communicate on sustainability and safety KPIs, ensuring transparency and accountability to BeNeLux Leadership team and external stakeholders.
- Commit on ensuring Compliance Assessments are successfully achieved within the cluster, including Health &
- Safety.
- Support cluster in operating and maintaining EHS &
- Environmental Management System- Submit all Sustainability reports in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all risk assessments, H&S; & evacuation trainings are completed for all BeNeLux Operational activities.
- Monitor our Sustainability (Environmental &
- Health &
- Safety) standards to make sure we fully meet the external and internal requirements and create best practices which further improve the overall wellbeing of our employees.
- Engage with external stakeholders-including suppliers, customers, regulatory bodies, NGOs,
and industry groups-to represent client's sustainability and safety agenda and build partnerships.
- Identify and mitigate sustainability and safety risks within the Cluster, including climate change, supply chain disruption, and workplace health and safety challenges.
- Makes and/or advises on commercial decisions that impact positively on both short-and medium-term bottom line results within the Cluster.
- Drive BeNeLux employee engagement and training on sustainability and safety topics.
? Requirements:
Experience Required
- Experience in Operations functions within ESG, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Proven track record of implementing sustainability and safety strategies at market or regional level.
- Experience in audit.
Technical / Functional Skills Required
- Knowledge of sustainability and safety frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GRI, CDP, SBTi, ISO 45001, EUDR…)
- Understanding of audit methodology
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to analyse complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to navigate through uncertain and ambiguous business environments
Education / Professional Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) preferred.
