As we continue to strengthen our commitment to science, innovation and knowledge transfer, we are looking for a Technology Transfer and Scientific Communications Specialist to join our R&D; team.

In this role, you will act as a key link between our scientific expertise and the outside world, helping transform R&D; results into valuable opportunities while communicating Prosur’s scientific activity with clarity, rigour and impact. You will work at the intersection of science, innovation, technology transfer and communication, collaborating with research institutions, industry partners and internal teams to maximise the value and visibility of our innovations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the technology transfer of R&D; projects, including identifying research outcomes with commercial potential, liaising with universities, technology centres and industry partners, and supporting the protection of intellectual property, including patents and know-how.
- Design and implement the R&D; Department’s scientific communication strategy across social media platforms, including LinkedIn and other relevant channels, creating rigorous and accessible content about the company’s scientific developments and innovations.
- Draft and coordinate the publication of scientific and technical articles,



including papers for peer-reviewed journals, conference contributions and technical notes, in collaboration with the research team.
- Monitor relevant EU and US regulations applicable to food ingredients, communicate regulatory developments to the team, and ensure that external scientific communications comply with applicable requirements.
- Prepare scientific and technical communication materials for customers, industry trade fairs, conferences and technical events.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory & Quality, and Sales teams to align scientific messaging with the company’s commercial objectives.

Requirements

- University degree in Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in technology transfer, scientific communication and/or science outreach within an R&D; environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Experience drafting and/or publishing scientific articles, whether as an author, co-author or through editorial support.
- Solid knowledge of European legislation relating to food products and food ingredients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Experience managing social media channels for corporate or scientific purposes.
- Ability to translate complex technical and scientific information into clear, engaging content for non-specialist audiences without compromising scientific accuracy.

Desirable Qualifications

- PhD or equivalent doctoral degree.
- Previous experience in a Technology Transfer Office (TTO) or similar organisation.
- Knowledge of intellectual property and industrial property rights as applied to innovation in the food industry.
- Experience using social media management and analytics tools.
