Engineering Manager | Solar Structures & Tracker Systems | Europe
Location: Europe (Hybrid/Remote options available)
Are you passionate about renewable energy and engineering innovation? We are partnering with a leading international company in the utility-scale solar sector that is looking to strengthen its Project Engineering team with an experienced Engineering Manager. This is an opportunity to contribute to the deployment of GW-scale solar projects worldwide while working on the design, optimisation and implementation of advanced solar racking & tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering studies and structural calculations for solar support structures. - Prepare and review technical documentation, including plans, assembly drawings and construction details. - Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives focused on structural optimisation and cost reduction. - Review technical project documentation and identify potential engineering risks. - Collaborate with project teams, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. - Provide technical support during project execution and assist commercial teams with engineering-related queries. - Contribute to quality assurance activities, design reviews and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience within solar PV, steel structures, trackers, racking systems or similar industries. - Strong understanding of structural analysis and engineering fundamentals. - Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation. - Proficiency with AutoCAD and engineering design tools. - Experience working in multidisciplinary and international environments. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent English.
