Experteer Overview
As an Engineer in our MRO-focused Cabin Modification team, you will develop engineering solutions for ATA Chapter 25 equipment and furnishings. You will coordinate with cross-functional disciplines to ensure airworthiness compliance and support certification activities.
You’ll design and modify cabin components using advanced CAD tools and manage documentation for EO/SB/ STC processes. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, production, and certification, contributing to safe, compliant cabin refurbishments across a global network.

- Analyze requirements and assess engineering impact for cabin refurbishment projects (floor coverings, ceiling panels, bulkheads, seats, divans, etc.)
- Design and modify mechanical parts, assemblies, and installations using AutoCAD at an advanced level and Siemens NX for basic to intermediate assemblies
- Create and update technical drawings, 3D models, and installation documentation
- Prepare and manage certification documentation (EOs, SBs, Deviation Sheets)
- Manage engineering data and workflows in Teamcenter with configuration control
- Ensure compliance with aircraft manuals (OMM, AMM, IPC) and certification processes
- Coordinate with Production, Flammability, Stress, Certification, Electrical Engineering,
and other stakeholders during certification
- Provide engineering support to workshop/production teams during installation and modification activities
- Prepare and review technical documentation required for certification activities
- Ensure compliance with FAA and EASA certification requirements (FAR/CS 25, STCs)
Responsabilidades
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering
- Three to five years of experience in aircraft design engineering, MRO engineering, or cabin modification projects
- Proficiency with CAD tools (Siemens NX, Teamcenter, AutoCAD)
- Advanced AutoCAD skills for parts, assemblies, and production drawings
- Strong understanding of OMM, AMM, IPC and certification processes
- Knowledge of FAA and EASA certification requirements (FAR 25, CS 25, STCs)
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (B2+ level)
- Experience in international, multidisciplinary projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently in demanding environments
