SAP Data Migration Consultant – S/4HANA

Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid, every other week onsite) & Remote
Contract Length: 9 months + long term S/4 Transformation

Overview
An excellent opportunity for a SAP Data Migration Consultant to join a integral brand on an international SAP template rollout programme. You will own and manage the client-side migration strategy and governance across rollout countries and waves. This is a hybrid contract role based in or near Barcelona, with onsite presence required every other week.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the client-side migration strategy and governance across rollout countries and waves
Define migration scope, objects, migration cycles and entry/exit criteria
Coordinate mock migrations, dress rehearsals and final migration activities
Manage and challenge the technical migration partner regarding deliverables, timelines and data quality




Coordinate data cleansing and validation activities with rollout countries and local data owners
Provide migration status reporting and escalate risks or quality issues when required

Requirements
Very good experience as an SAP Migration Manager or Data Migration Lead within SAP transformation or template rollout projects
Proven experience managing multiple SAP data migration cycles, including mock loads, dress rehearsals and final migration
Strong experience coordinating and managing technical migration partners
In-depth understanding of data quality, data cleansing, mapping, transformation and reconciliation
Experience coordinating migration activities across multiple countries and rollout teams

Contract Details
Duration: 6 months + Long term S/4 transformation
Working pattern: Onsite in Barcelona every other week, remote otherwise
