The vacant teaching position corresponds to the Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management (GIBM):

- IT Tools Applied to Business Management – 6 ECTS (1GIBM)

This course introduces the use of key IT tools applied to business management. It focuses on digital systems for information processing, data management, and support of core business processes, with the aim of improving operational efficiency and the quality of information for decision-making. Class Schedule: Wednesdays from 10:30 to 13:30.

Semester: First semester of the 2026/2027 academic year (Mid September- End January)

On-campus teaching.

Teaching language: English.

? ? Minimum requirements:

- University degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation, Engineering or related fields.
- Professional or teaching experience in IT tools applied to business management.
- Knowledge of digital tools for business planning, data processing, reporting, collaboration and decision-making.
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies and practical learning.
- C2 level of English: mandatory.
- C2 level of Spanish: mandatory.
- Availability for on-campus teaching at EUM.

Will be valued:

- PhD or Doctorate.
- AQU or ANECA accreditation.
- Previous university teaching experience.
- Experience teaching digital tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, collaborative platforms, data visualisation or business software.




- Professional experience in digital transformation, business analytics, management systems or technology-based business projects.
- C1 level of Catalan.
- Participation in research, transfer or innovation projects related to digital business, business analytics or educational technology.

? CV assessment scale – 100 points

- Suitable academic degree: 10 points
- PhD or Doctorate: 10 points
- AQU or ANECA accreditation: 10 points
- University teaching experience: 20 points
- Relevant professional experience in IT tools / digital business management: 15 points
- Research, publications or transfer related to the subject area: 15 points
- Technological and digital teaching competencies, including Moodle or similar platforms: 10 points
- Teaching innovation, applied digital learning or knowledge transfer: 5 points
- Catalan C1: 5 points

Applications and selection process

Candidates must submit their CV, proof of language proficiency, and a brief teaching proposal for the subject, no later than 28 June 2026.

The selection procedure will consist of the following phases:

Phase 1 – Receipt of applications

Applications will be received until 07 September 2026.

Phase 2 – Evaluation of applications

All applications received within the established deadline will be evaluated according to the CV assessment scale included in this vacancy.

Phase 3 – Interview The three highest-ranking candidates who achieve a score above 50 points in the evaluation phase will be shortlisted for an interview.
