As the Quality Manager, you oversee supplier alignment and performance for assigned accounts, ensuring on-time delivery and defect-free deliverables. You will engage with customers to understand quality expectations and coordinate with Language Services to meet capacity and quality targets. You’ll monitor OKRs, drive corrective actions, and lead quality initiatives across programs. This role combines client-facing quality governance with process improvement to sustain high standards in localization projects.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Ensure supplier alignment and monitor performance for accounts within the assigned program squads
• Lead quality discussions with customers, analyze root causes, implement corrective/preventive actions, and maintain client-facing quality documentation
• Design and maintain a quality framework and language assets (glossaries, style guides, TMs)
• Communicate capacity and language type needs to Language Services; engage LS team for resource recommendations
• Act as customer point of contact for language quality matters and ensure quality SLAs are met
• Escalate delivery issues, support PMs, and involve Language Services as needed
• Collaborate on Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs), RCAs,
and CAPAs; coordinate with Talent Procurement if needed
• Regularly measure and report quality metrics for clients with LQA SLAs/commitments; support test translations when required
• Support process improvements and initiatives; train suppliers on customer tools as needed
Responsabilidades
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, client-centric localization environment
• Experience in Localization Vendor, Language or Quality Management
• Strong knowledge of quality principles and practices
• Experience with Translation Memory tools, Translation Management Systems, and MT post-editing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders
• Knowledge of language services industry and trends; data literacy and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
• Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus
• Experience with Agile and/or Lean Six Sigma is an advantage
• Master's degree or equivalent experience
