About the role

We’re looking for a Junior Technical Tester to support the quality of new merchant implementations and migrations to new versions of FERO.

You’ll perform structured manuel tests, using clearly documented test cases, checking areas such as checkout flows, styling, payments and plugin integrations. When something doesn’t work as expected, you’ll investigate the issue, document it clearly and work with the relevant teams to make sure it is resolved and retested before go-live.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is highly detail-oriented, enjoys following structured processes and is interested in developing their technical knowledge within a fast-growing fintech.

What you’ll do

- Execute documented test cases for new merchant implementations and migrations to new versions.
- Test checkout flows, styling, payment journeys and plugin integrations.
- Identify gaps between the expected and vigente implementation.
- Spot, reproduce and clearly document bugs or unexpected behaviour.
- Use browser developer tools to collect relevant technical information about an issue.
- Log issues in our tracking system and follow them through to resolution and retesting.




- Flag possible improvements to existing test cases or processes when you notice something is missing or unclear.
- Work closely with Implementation and Customer Success, with technical guidance from our QA Engineer.

What you’ll bring

- Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical way of working.
- The patience and focus to consistently follow detailed testing processes.
- The judgement to notice when something falls outside a documented test case or doesn’t look right.
- Clear written communication, particularly when documenting technical issues.
- Confidence in learning new technical tools and concepts.
- Basic familiarity with browser developer tools, Git, or issue-tracking tools such as Jira is helpful, but not required.
- A collaborative approach and comfort working with both customer-facing and technical colleagues.

Good to have

- Some exposure to QA, software testing, SaaS implementation, or technical support.
- Experience working in a start-up environment.
- An interest in eCommerce, payments, or fintech.
