Travel around the city is cheap and easy, with bike stations all over the city and a very comprehensive subsidised local bus system.Valladolid is a beautiful city in the north of Spain with a lower cost of living than most of Spain due to its vibrant university population.
It is a culinary gem rooted in culture and history, with Romanesque plazas and churches to be found throughout the city.
It, alongside Salamanca, is considered to be the home of Spanish,



making it one of the easiest places in the world to learn Spanish (without the cost of living in Salamanca).Madrid is an hour away by high-speed train, but it's also very easy to get to other cities like San Sebastin, Burgos and Len, to name but a few.
