Experteer Overview
As part of Santander's Data u0026amp; AI Science (DAISci) team, you will lead responsible AI initiatives across the product lifecycle, ensuring safe, trusted and compliant AI systems. You will blend research with applied execution to advance methodologies in interpretability, robustness, and governance. Collaborating with engineering, validation, governance, and product teams, you’ll help translate research into scalable, production-ready solutions while mentoring peers. This role offers the chance to shape enterprise AI with real-world impact in a world-leading financial institution.

• Develop and operationalize Santander's AI principles across DAISci domains to deliver safe, trusted AI from design to deployment and monitoring
• Advance responsible AI methodologies including interpretability, robustness, and alignment strategies

Responsabilidades
• Advanced degree in a related field (PhD or MSc) with specialization in Responsible AI, trustworthy ML, AI safety, fairness, interpretability, or governance
• Proven track record in high-impact AI/ML research, patents, open-source contributions, or transformative product innovations
• Ability to translate research into production, including bias detection/mitigation, interpretability methods, robustness testing, monitoring, and safety guardrails
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, DGL, or PyG
• Deep understanding of responsible AI principles, fairness metrics, model risk management, explainability, privacy, and regulatory alignment
• Strong connections with academia and AI research community and ability to shape research agenda
