Experteer Overview In this role, you own the surface design of Helsing’s robotics portfolio, guiding Class A surfaces from concept to production. You bridge industrial design, engineering and suppliers to deliver aesthetically refined, manufacturable, production-ready robots and drones. You lead cross-project surface development, ensure visual continuity and production feasibility, and collaborate closely with product, engineering and leadership to align design intent with manufacturing realities. You will shape high-impact robotics solutions in a fast-paced, ethical defence context.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Lead development and validation of Class A surfaces across concurrent projects from concept to tooling release and ramp-up.
- Be the primary expert for surface and design solutions, guiding visual continuity and manufacturability with cross-functional teams.
- Drive real-world testing, mockup evaluations and tactile reviews to translate digital designs into production-ready products.
- Collaborate daily with product, engineering, marketing and project leadership to resolve technical challenges and maintain alignment between design intent and production realities.




- Manage timelines and prioritise deliverables across projects with varying maturity, balancing design quality, cost-efficiency and time-to-market.Responsabilidades
- Built and delivered Class A surfaces for complex products from concept to mass production; proficient with Alias, ICEM Surf, Maya, Blender, CATIA
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and design-for-manufacturing principles; optimize designs for performance, cost, and scalability
- Led surface/design workstreams across global, cross-functional teams; strong stakeholder management
- Able to articulate design intent and technical requirements clearly to diverse audiences (industrial designers, engineers, suppliers, leadership)
- Experience in the robotics domain, able to alternate between strategic design decisions and detailed surfacing workRequisitos principales
