Experteer Overview You will design and maintain a modern Data Warehouse and the Allianz Data Platform on Azure, contributing to a multi-year cloud modernization. You’ll work across Oracle DWH and Azure environments within Agile teams to ensure performance, security, and seamless data integration. The role offers hands-on work with Azure, Databricks, and SQL, influencing data architecture and deployment at scale. - Analyze, design and implement data solutions using Azure, Databricks, (Azure Fabric) and SQL technologies
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for robust data integration and transformation
- Optimize data processing for performance and scalability
- Ensure data quality, security, and non-functional requirements
- Integrate closely with Azure services and Power BI
- Collaborate with solution designers, product owners and SMEs to define and apply best practices
- Manage daily operations and resolve incidents
- Create clear, accurate documentation of implemented requirements




- Explore and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve data processing and analyticsResponsabilidades
- 2-5 years of experience in data engineering/development
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Azure Fabric, including architecture, storage, security, and performance optimization
- Proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL), Unix, and relevant programming languages
- Familiarity with Power BI and other Microsoft SaaS solutions
- Experience in refactoring data models and data layers
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
- Ability to work 80-100% with at least three days onsite
- SAS knowledge is advantageous; insurance industry experience is a plus
