The Role
We are looking for an HSE Specialist Europe to support and coordinate Health, Safety and Environmental activities across our AutoLogistics operations in Spain and Europe. The position will focus primarily on occupational health and safety, regulatory compliance, risk prevention, accident investigation, and the maintenance of HSE management systems within a multi-site operational environment. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, external prevention services, local managers and the Quality & Claims team to ensure compliance with internal standards, legal requirements and certification frameworks.

Key responsibilities

- Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems, particularly ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Coordinate HSE activities across multiple operational sites in Spain and Europe.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate risk assessments and preventive action plans.




- Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of safety measures.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and preparedness activities.
- Work closely with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture.
- Deliver or coordinate HSE awareness and training initiatives.
- Support the management of contractor safety and coordination of external activities.
- Collaborate with the Quality & Claims Manager in maintaining certifications and supporting integrated management systems.
- Monitor HSE KPIs and prepare periodic reports.

What we're looking for:

- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or related field.
- Certified Health & Safety qualification according to local regulations.
- 3-5 years of experience in Health & Safety roles within logistics, transportation, automotive, industrial or operational environments.
- Experience supporting ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 management systems.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and accident investigations.
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong presence in operations.
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent english (B2-C1)
- Availability for occasional travel across Spain and Europe.

Requirements:

Education

- Risk Prevention Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- or a related field

Experience

- Higher education/training in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP/PRL)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions within industrial or automotive environments
- Proven experience in:
- Implementation, monitoring, and auditing of QHSE systems
- Managing ISO and customer audits

Practical knowledge of:

- Waste management
- Emergency plans
- Incident control
- Continuous improvement processes

Languages

Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Nice to have

- Knowledge of integrated management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
- Training in labor and environmental legislation
- Experience in automotive, logistics, or port terminal environments
