- Responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of SPPM.
- Ensure that suppliers solve problems using the 8D methodology or other problem-solving systems.
- Ensure supplier certification in accordance with specifications.
- Prepare control plans and carry out incoming material inspections according to planning requirements.
- Ensure supplier processes for new products and modifications to existing products, and coordinate PPAP activities.
- Establish containment areas for non-conforming products or parts.
- Ensure BOS procedures are implemented and drive improvements when necessary.
- Conduct supplier process and system audits.
- Perform fit and assembly trials and follow up on product modifications and/or new product launches.
- Manage and validate new equipment, processes, or tools that impact product quality.
- CAROL, MEQ, and daily/monthly organizational reporting.
- BOS Auditor.
- Conduct BOS plant audits: Process Audits, LPAs, and 5S Audits.
- Support the implementation of AMS principles.
- Monitor scrap levels and manage sewing shop activities.
