In this role you lead the design and delivery of HV primary substation systems (AIS/GIS) within our Transmission u0026amp; Distribution practice. You provide technical oversight across multi-discipline teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient solutions for large-scale grid projects. You will guide engineering strategy, engage with clients, and support construction and commissioning to realize grid reinforcement and renewable integration initiatives. This position offers impact at scale within a global infrastructure leader and emphasizes both technical excellence and leadership.

• Provide technical oversight for HV primary system designs (AIS/GIS) and equipment layouts
• Review design decisions, strategies, and equipment selection for standards compliance
• Develop and review primary design deliverables (layouts, busbar, sizing, clearances, insulation coordination, shielding, earthing)
• Coordinate between primary, secondary, civil, structural, and commissioning disciplines
• Support engineering strategies and delivery approaches for major projects
• Maintain client, contractor,



and supplier engagement to ensure technical alignment
• Provide senior engineering support during construction, testing, and commissioning
• Resolve site queries, deviations, and field design changes
• Lead and mentor primary substation engineers and foster knowledge sharing

Responsabilidades
• 12-15+ years in HV primary substation engineering
• Experience delivering large transmission or distribution substations across multiple phases
• Proven experience leading engineering teams or technical disciplines
• HV/EHV substation design (AIS/GIS)
• Busbar configurations and equipment layouts
• Insulation coordination and electrical clearances
• Short-circuit calculations and equipment rating verification
• Transformer and reactive power equipment knowledge
• Experience with installation and commissioning support
