At Floox we design, develop and manufacture fast and ultra-fast DC charging points for electric vehicles. Floox was born as a brand of solutions for electric mobility of Premium PSU after a 40 years of experience in power and energy conversion solutions (power supplies, DC/DC converters, inverters, battery chargers and bidirectional converters) in the electric industry, rail transport and high-tech equipment sectors and has a team of more than 130 people.

The selected candidate will lead the mechanical development of the product, from concept through industrialization, ensuring that solutions are robust, manufacturable, and consistent with Floox's quality standards. In addition to this mechanical component, they will provide support in creating installation and product manuals, as well as support to production.

Mechanical design of housings, chassis, and subassemblies for EV chargers using parametric design software (Solid Edge).
Product development from concept to industrialization: prototyping, validation, laboratory certifications, and transfer to production.
Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation (drawings, BOM, specifications).
Creation and updating of installation and product manuals.
Technical support to production in resolving day-to-day issues.
Coordination with suppliers for the manufacturing of mechanical parts (machining, sheet metal, etc.).




Close collaboration with the electronics, software, quality, and production teams to ensure full product integration.
Analysis and resolution of mechanical issues detected in production or in the field.
Higher Vocational Training (Técnico Superior/FP) in Mechanical Design, Industrial Design, or similar (a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is also valid).
Demonstrable experience with 3D parametric design software; Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining) and material selection.
Genuine autonomy in managing day-to-day work: able to prioritize, organize, and drive tasks forward without constant supervision.
English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation and international suppliers.
