Join Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe to support Eurodrone structural design for Pre-FAL production. You will work within the Eurodrone Structural Design Engineering Team, collaborating across Stress, Aerodynamics, Systems, and Production to deliver safe, lightweight metallic and composite structures. You’ll tackle end-to-end design challenges, tool-based analysis, and supplier coordination in a multidisciplinary, high-stakes environment. This role offers impact on a flagship European defence programme and exposure to advanced military aircraft design. You will contribute to shaping robust, tech-driven solutions in a multicultural setting.

• Design and validate structural components and assemblies (metallic and composite/hybrid) optimizing weight, cost, performance and safety
• Provide direct design support to Pre-FAL production activities, resolving technical issues (HNCs, Concessions, DAMs)
• Interface with Stress, Systems Engineering, Aerodynamics, Maintainability to define robust technical solutions
• Support Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams, and follow up with Design suppliers




• Support the End-to-End lifecycle of the aircraft using state-of-the-art design methodologies and software
• Participate in technological development within the structural discipline for advanced military aircraft projects

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Structural Design with metallic and composite technologies for aircrafts
• Strong background in aircraft structural design tools and End-to-End lifecycle methodologies
• Experience resolving production/manufacturing design issues (Concessions, HNCs, DAMs)
• Soft skills: adaptability, strong problem-solving mindset, collaborative with cross-functional teams
• Advanced level in English (written and spoken)
