As an Accountant at Weir, you will own and deliver accurate financial reporting across EU entities, ensuring strong controls and compliant processes. You’ll lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, and intercompany transactions, driving improvements and standardisation. Your work supports management decision-making with insightful variance analysis and robust audit readiness. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple EU entities and provide variance insights for decision-making
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards (local and IFRS)
• Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
• Lead end-to-end month-end close, collaborating cross-functionally and driving automation
• Manage accruals with documentation and accuracy
• Coordinate external and internal audits, prepping schedules and supporting responses
• Oversee intercompany transactions, postings, eliminations, and dispute resolution
• Drive process improvements and standardisation across R2R, P2P,



OTC; act as SAP SME and support system upgrades
• Collaborate with Finance Centres of Excellence, Regional Directors, and other finance teams to ensure transparency and excellence
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and a strong safety culture

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent vocational qualification
• Solid SAP FI knowledge and strong Excel capability
• Experience in management accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, balance sheet ownership, and audit preparation
• Proficiency in English at C1 level; Spanish is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of local and IFRS accounting standards
• Experience with intercompany accounting and financial controls
• Dynamic, proactive, and flexible approach to handle requests beyond official hours
