Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the development and validation of repair procedures and tooling for unplanned wind turbine maintenance, coordinating cross-functionally to ensure safe, effective repairs. You’ll balance hands-on testing with thorough documentation to scale repair capabilities and capture lessons learned. You’ll work with regional and platform teams to prove out processes, driving safe, repeatable repair solutions that meet customer and business needs. This position emphasizes delivering robust engineering while enabling rapid deployment and knowledge sharing. Compensaciones / Incentivos • Design, develop and validate repair procedures meeting customer and business requirements; prove out safety and functionality • Communicate unknowns, risks, and tradeoffs to enable safe repair execution • Lead initial validation and beta testing of tooling/process products with Deployment, Platform Leaders, Field Engineering, and EHS • Create and maintain project plans for repair initiatives • Develop, test and validate repair/replacement procedures through models, prototyping and wind turbine components • Specify requirements for process-specific tooling ensuring safe installation, operation,
and disassembly • Own design of innovative repair solutions adhering to engineering standards • Follow Design Review Process and document repair procedures (eDRB, PLM, FMEAs, WDIs, Handoff Packages) • Maintain awareness of team efforts to capture lessons learned and respond to customer/program needs Responsabilidades • Bachelor's Degree or relevant/proven equivalent experience in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or equivalent) • Ability to travel globally 10-20% • Ability to climb wind turbines and work at heights • Proficiency in English (written and oral) • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to engage with senior management and hourly technicians • Wind Turbine Product/Services knowledge • Familiarity with industrial tooling • Familiarity with empathic design • Technical project management experience • Willingness to support physical shop/field work • Familiarity with CAD design and FEA analysis • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Requisitos principales • medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage • retirement savings plan with company matching • tuition assistance • paid parental leave • life insurance • 12 paid holidays
