Financial Controller — Digital Waves

At Digital Waves, we are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team and help us organise and manage the company’s financial and administrative functions, supporting operations across Spain and Denmark.

Essential requirements

• Based in Málaga or the surrounding areas.

• Experience in financial controlling, accounting or financial administration.

• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Ability to work with companies, advisers and documentation in both Spain and Denmark.

• Experience in cash management, bank reconciliations, payments and financial reporting.

• Strong organisational skills, autonomy, attention to detail and discretion.

Knowledge of Danish and experience working with international or technology companies, or with corporate structures across multiple countries, will be considered an advantage.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting processes and financial closing.





• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.

• Prepare and monitor payments.

• Coordinate with accounting, tax and legal advisers.

• Manage financial, administrative and corporate documentation.

• Monitor loans, debts and intercompany transactions.

• Prepare financial reports for management.

• Maintain an up-to-date tax, corporate and administrative compliance calendar.

• Organise contracts, certificates, powers of attorney and corporate documentation.

• Provide support with the company’s general administrative tasks.
