Experteer Overview In this role you will advance quality for Emburse’s AI-powered travel and expense platform. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to design and implement robust test strategies, automate testing, and ensure customer-facing reliability. You will collaborate with engineers and product owners to improve quality and user experience. - Design, implement and maintain integration, component, and UI tests
- Collaborate with engineers and product owners to identify test opportunities and improve product quality
- Identify and triage defects with thorough investigation
- Pair with developers to enhance testability of systems
- Execute tests, analyze results, and maintain test infrastructure and harnesses
- Contribute to API documentation and test plans for components
- Drive automation initiatives and define test methodologies for the product roadmap




- Participate in SDLC processes including agile ceremonies and code reviews
- Write moderately complex test scripts and support load testing and test infra as needed
- Support production debugging and problem isolation across environmentsResponsabilidades
- 4+ years of QA engineering experience in a software development environment
- Strong CS fundamentals
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and exposure to multiple languages and testing frameworks
- Experience designing, writing and executing manual and automated tests across integration, component, and UI levels
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with source control (Git)
- Familiar with AWS services
- Solid understanding of an Agile software development lifecycle
- Preferred: OS X and Linux experience, Scrum/DevOps familiarity, and Test-Driven Development experienceRequisitos principales
