As an Accounting & Tax Compliance Officer, you will take (co-)ownership of accounting and tax operations for our Benelux and Middle East entities, serving as a critical bridge between local operations, corporate teams, and external partners.

Your Tasks:

- Accounting & Month-End: Drive monthly and yearly closings, calculate month-end accruals, reconcile payroll accounts, and review balance sheets.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee direct and indirect tax declarations and payments in compliance with local legislation and internal procedures.
- Stakeholder & Audit Lead: Act as the primary finance contact for external/internal audits, SOX compliance, local authorities, and corporate teams.
- SSC Collaboration & Risk Support: Partner closely with our Shared Services Centre in India and provide key support to the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager Benelux or others.
- Business Partnering: Opportunity to take on broader business finance and reporting tasks based on your performance and interest.

Your Profile:

- Education & Experience:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a drive for process automation and eye for accuracy. Experience in SAP, Qlikview, or OneStream is a plus.
- Languages: Professional fluency in Dutch & English; additional European languages are an asset.
- Mindset: Proactive, adaptable to fast-paced environments (situations, roles & geographies), determination & stress-resistance to cope with tight deadlines and eager to continuously learn and improve processes.
