Business & Regulatory Reporting Analyst

As the Business & Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will develop, implement and maintain a robust approach to data quality and compliance. You will analyze the latest regulations affecting electronic payment institutions and ensure we meet all necessary reporting requirements (e.g. AMLA, CESOP, FICOBA, PCC, PSD3, SEPA).

As you settle in this role, you will build a strong understanding of our business, products, and the PSD3 framework, along with their impact on reporting. You will have a keen interest in the constantly evolving payment landscape and regulatory developments.

Eventually, you will take charge of analyzing data for various business reports and contribute in interpreting trends, predicting patterns, and improving existing processes.

The Business & Regulatory Reporting Analyst works as part of the MIS and regulatory reporting team. You will liaise with the whole organisation, whether as the source of data or as users of the reports produced by the team.

What you will be doing:

Your responsibilities will be split into two main groups:

Regulatory Reporting

- Prepare, review, and validate regulatory reports prior to submission.
- Compile data to produce accurate, timely, and complete submissions.




- Investigate queries raised by supervisory authorities and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Ensure overall completeness, accuracy, and quality of the reported data.

Business Analysis

- Maintain Edenred PayTech EU’s reporting framework, identify new requirements, and track updates and corrections to regulatory reporting systems and data warehouses.
- Keep internal documentation and manuals up to date as needed.
- Promote the integrity of Edenred PayTech EU across its various stakeholders considering quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Produce reports as requested and deliver clear, timely feedback on related matters.

These responsibilities represent the core functions of the position and may evolve in line with business needs and role progression.

Key Working Relationships

Internal: You will work in close collaboration with our departments in the UK (e.g. Data, MIS) and local teams in Brussels (e.g. AML, Operations, Data).

External: You would liaise with different competent authorities as The National Bank of Belgium or l’Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution, as well as other obliged stakeholders, including agents, third-party suppliers, and different financial institutions.

What you will bring:

Required:

- Bachelor/Master’s in Finance, Business Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. A combination of relevant experience and professional achievements may be considered as a substitute of a Bachelor/Master's Degree
- Strong analytical skills,



with the ability to challenge existing processes and propose alternative solutions.
- Familiarity with SQL and MS Excel to process large amounts of data files efficiently and turn data into clear reports.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to take initiative when needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly to different audiences.
- Languages: Full working knowledge of English. Fluency in French is a nice-to-have.

Nice to Have:

- Prior experience in regulatory or risk reporting for a financial institution.
- Basic to advanced knowledge of financial regulations (e.g. AMLA, CESOP, GDPR, PSD3, EBA Guidelines) is highly desired.
- Understanding of ‘Customer Due Diligence’ and ‘Know Your Customer’ processes.
- Basic programming experience (e.g. Python, DAX, VBA, etc).
- Exposure to visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, AWS, Databricks, etc).
