Our client a leading insurance firm across Belgium, is urgently looking for a Security Consultant – across IT Governance & Norms.

Role Purpose

The Security Consultant supports the IT Governance & Norms project by documenting and improving selected IT security practices, performing gap analyses against guidelines, and defining and implementing feasible solutions.

Key Tasks

For selected IT practices, you will:

Collect or provide AS-IS descriptions

- Collect existing documentation (processes, work instructions, playbooks).
- Where missing or outdated (and in scope of the centralization project): document the current process.

Perform a gap analysis

- Perform gap analyses against guidelines.
- Identify and document gaps and improvement needs.

Define remediation

- Determine realistic and appropriate approaches to close identified gaps.

Help design and implement TO-BE practices

- Design TO-BE processes (BPMN) with short descriptions of all activities.
- Write work instructions.




- Create templates and other supporting tools.
- Write or update related policies.
- Support technical teams in closing technical gaps.
- Create training material.
- Deliver trainings.
