Universal Cabinets & Designs is currently looking for a keen & experienced Wood Machinists to run the machines in a cabinet making business in the Malaga area. E.g. Morbidelli, CNC & beamsaw and Biesse winstore. We manufacture all types of cabinet works in a large factory and specialise with custom cabinetry and commercial outfits.Duties include:Operates variety of woodworking machines such as Biesse CNC, edgebander, beamsaw and uses various handtoolsCheck output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.Perform regular checks to ensure machines are in good working order and address any issues.Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.Monitor stock levels associated the machinesAssist to organise warehouse stock and operation of forkliftApplicant requirements:Hold a Certificate III in Wood machining plus at least 1 year of employment experience,



or 3 years of employment experience in lieu of any formal qualifications in the industry of cabinet making.CNC or machining experienceMust be able to step up to the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and be versátil with working hours at short noticeMust take pride in their workmanship and qualityAttention to detailAbility to follow instructions, be keen, self motivated and drivenBe able to communicate wellForklift ticket is advantageous but not necessaryThis is a fantastic opportunity for the applicant to work with a close team who are supportive, produce high quality workmanship and love their work.
