ALTENis a multinational group specializing in consulting services, information technology, and engineering services for leading companies in the market.AtALTEN Spain, we are currently looking for aGlobal Account Manager EU Institutions to join our offices in Madrid.Working in a strict co-operation with the Development Director for IT Enterprise Services, the successful candidate will:co-ordinate the development of the business units dedicated to the provision of IT/Software/Data services in the EU Institutions;manage the involvement of internal stakeholders from multiple countries in the definition and evolution of the development strategy for EU institutions;develop and manage relationships with officials in the EU institutions, identify key stakeholders for specific tenders;develop and manage relationships in the community of EU suppliers,



identify partners for EU Bids;define and implement general action plans aimed at increasing the presence of the company in the EU Institutions;drive and support the implementation of the development strategy in each involved country by screening interesting opportunities and coaching bidding teams;define and track suitable KPIs for monitoring progress in business development;discuss progress with top management.Experience:15+ years experience in business development in the IT domain5+ years experience in business development and tendering with EU InstitutionsSuccessful track record in growing profitable IT business with EU InstitutionsSuccessful track record in winning large EU tenders as part of consortiaSuccessful track record in managing profitable EU contractsLocation:Southern Europe, with availability to travel to Brussels/Luxembourg on a regular basis
