Executive Manager
Lead a respected community-based aged care organisation through an exciting period of growth, change and renewal.
Our client is a not-for-profit aged care provider with a proud history of supporting the Hungarian community through residential aged care, respite care and independent living services. We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Executive Manager to lead our 62-bed aged care home and independent living units in delivering exceptional care, strong operational performance and a positive workplace culture.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-established organisation while playing a key role in significant redevelopment projects, regulatory readiness, and the continued preservation of the organisations rich cultural heritage.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the President of the Committee of Management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the organisation, leading a multidisciplinary management team and ensuring excellence across care delivery, workforce leadership, compliance and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
Foster a high-performing, person-centred culture that supports residents, families and staff.
Provide visible and approachable leadership across the home.
Lead and develop a capable management team while promoting accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, committee members and community stakeholders.
Care Quality & Compliance
Deliver individualised care that meets residents' physical, emotional, social and cultural needs.
Ensure compliance with aged care legislation, standards and regulations.
Oversee clinical governance, risk and quality systems.
Drive continuous improvement and accreditation readiness.
Attract, develop and retain a skilled, engaged workforce.
Drive performance, coaching and development.
Ensure effective workforce planning, rostering and care-minute compliance.
Champion staff engagement, wellbeing and retention.
Oversee budgets, occupancy, reporting and operations.
Oversee AN-ACC funding and accurate resident assessments.
Report performance and financial results to the Committee.
Manage independent living operations and key systems.
Workplace Health & Safety
Promote safety for residents, staff and visitors.
Ensure WHS compliance, incident response and emergency readiness.
Support return-to-work and risk mitigation
Strategic & Community Engagement
Support the Committee to deliver organisational strategy.
Lead planned renovations and service improvements.
Strengthen the organisations Hungarian community and cultural connections.Represent the organisation with
professionalism and integrity.
