Our client is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to support the management, optimisation and compliance of its enterprise software estate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the full software licence lifecycle, including requests, approvals, procurement, deployment, renewals and retirement.
- Maintain accurate licence inventories and asset management records.
- Analyse software contracts, licence terms and usage rights.
- Monitor licence compliance and identify potential risks.
- Review software usage data to identify optimisation and cost-saving opportunities.
- Produce reports, dashboards and management insights using data analysis tools.
- Collaborate with IT, Procurement and Finance stakeholders.




- Support continuous improvement of Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and governance.

Must-Have Skills:

- 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, IT Procurement or Software Licence Management.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing software renewals, contracts and vendor relationships.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience analysing large datasets.
- Experience with Power BI and/or SQL.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Fluency in English plus either French or Dutch.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with SAM/ITAM platforms and tooling.
- Experience creating KPI dashboards and executive reporting.
- Knowledge of software cost optimisation and licence audits.
- Experience within large enterprise IT environments.
